One of the most iconic buildings in Quebec City - Le Chateau Frontenac, turned to Rockwell Group for a update to the hotel's public spaces. The scope of the project included two restaurants, two bars and two reception lobbies as well as grand stair leading to a large ball room. Each of the spaces was designed to have a very distinct character and to create a unique experience for and international visitors.
The challenge of the project was to achieve a synergy between the new and the old, the contemporary needs and requirements and the historic details and decor. Built by the Canadian Railway System at the end of the 19th century, the landmark structure is one of the most photographed in the world and visited by thousands of tourists yearly.
