XPO Architecture was commissioned to design a single family residence in the hills of the Adirondacks. Located in a densely forested area, the home invites its surroundings by incorporating a continuous South facing glass façade. 

The layout of the house responds to the geometry of the lot and key features of the site. The topography of the area with a beautiful natural pond with an old pine tree next to it inform the relationship of the spaces within the house. A large living room opens up towards the pond with windows on two sides and a continuous porch opens up to the landscape via elongated steps that spill into the green turf.
